Hands-on help applying for and navigating OPWDD eligibility and services.
Turning a Confusing Process Into a Clear One
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) provides eligibility-based services and supports for individuals with qualifying developmental disabilities. Getting started can feel overwhelming — between determining eligibility, gathering diagnostic documentation, and completing the "Front Door" application process, many families aren't sure where to begin. We walk beside families through every part of it.
Once eligibility is established, we help families understand intake and discovery meetings, make sense of their Life Plan, and explore the residential, day, community habilitation, respite, and self-directed service options available through OPWDD's home and community-based services. We also help connect families with a Care Coordination Organization (CCO) and Medicaid Service Coordination for ongoing support.
Whether you're just starting to explore OPWDD or already have a case open and need help understanding your options, we're here to make the process feel manageable.
